A Typical Sibuyan Family 20 years after the Battle of Sibuyan Sea. The head of the family is the Webmaster's father, United States Army In The Far East (USAFE) Sgt. Gemeniano Ruiz Rovira of San Fernando, Sibuyan, Romblon who fought side by side with the American soldiers in the Western Visayas and Mindoro regions. After the war, he served San Fernando Police Force and became the Chief of Police. He was later appointed as officer of the Commission on Election in San Fernando by the then Mayor Cepriano Subido. Later in life, he served as Fiscal of The Church Of Emmaculate Conception in San Fernando, Sibuyan, Romblon. He died in 1990.
